Seed of the Soul offers permaculture food forestry consultation, design, implementation, and maintenance services. Our designs include a full “permaculture” property profile, equipped with contour, sector, zone, and plant mapping; a water management plan; and plant, material, and labor cost analysis. Many of our clients opt for the “Fruit Bundle” which is a 12-month maintenance plan tailored to their unique needs after the installation is complete.

Our specialties.

We specialize in planting orchards and food forest systems. We love to plant a variety of fruit and nut trees, shrubs, vines, and herbs. Our favorite assemblies of plants to install are: healthy fats and proteins ('staple crops'), exotic fruit trees, citrus orchards, Mediterranean and drought tolerant gardens, antioxidant plant assemblies, and high-value crops.

We also specialize in planting rare Hawaiian sugarcane varieties, bamboo forests and windbreaks, conservation plant assemblies, and aromatic lei gardens. We never utilize pesticides, herbicides, or toxic materials in our planting and strive to be as ecologically respectful as possible.
